The Energy of Prayer

What does it take to pray?

It takes energy to sit in prayer and be focused on the pure intention of healing and love.

It requires patience and perseverance.

It directly links you to God.

The dialogue with God is the greatest connection one will ever hold within their heart.

Prayer can be brief or it can linger on.

Whatever form it takes,  it sends out the deepest part of self into the heavens to be heard.

When one sits alone with God in the silence, peace is readily felt.

The Sound of Silence

In the silence comes the  whispers of guidance given to you through the voice of God.

As  one sits in the quiet, a banquet of feelings arise and depart.

I recently went up north to Oakhurst California where I stayed in a cabin in the woods.

The peace I felt there while in the silence was without description.

The soundless echo of air was audible to my ears.

I could hear the silence.

It was divinely calming to the soul.

Being in nature among the sequoias was a true blessing.
