When we attach ourselves to desires, we ultimately push them away.

The more we want something, the less chance we will receive it.

Why does this happen?

Our thoughts are comprised of energy.

As we send this thought energy of "wanting" out to the universe,
it responds accordingly and gives us more of that "wanting" energy in return.

The energy of desire comes from our ego self.

Our ego attaches to this certain something and convinces us that if we obtain this,
we will be fulfilled.

Detachment frees us from the blocks we send out to the universe.

When we detach from our desires, the universe opens up and brings us Everything our soul needs.

Detachment comes from our higher self.

It is a place within that holds faith, trust and love close to the heart.

As soon as we Let Go of our constant need to have something in our life, it  will come to us.

It may not come to us in the way in which we were planning, but rather in a way that brings
the soul to it's highest potential.

Detachment is the release that brings forth everything our soul requires.

Connect with your higher self today and release everything over to God.

"If you purify your soul of attachment to and desire for things, you will understand
them spiritually. If you deny your appetite for them, you will enjoy their truth, understanding
what is certain in them."

St John of the Cross  (Christian mystic and poet, 1542-1591)
