Guilt

Posted by Maria Certo on Wednesday, July 28, 2010

Everyone experiences guilt at some point in their lives.

Whether it be from an angry or hurtful exchange of words with one another,
actions that don't serve our higher-self, or taking on something that truly doesn't
belong to us and call it our own.

These guilt ridden feelings serve to make us understand our choices.
The choices that are given to us each and every moment we breath.

When we live in guilt we allow life to pass us by.

Guilt is wasted energy.

It creates blocks in our energy system and missed opportunities
that are right in front of us.

We can't change what has happened, but what we can do is
change the way in which we live in the present moment.

We can choose to honor ourselves and others from the highest place
of love.

When we give our guilt over to God and acknowlege the pain it has caused ourselves and others,
we then can release it from our energy.
After this has happened, a transformation occurs.

Our heart opens up again and
allows us to receive the love and forgiveness that we have
been seeking deep within our soul.

Guilt teaches us that our past mistakes are just that, the
past.

Live today free of guilt and enjoy all that life has to offer.
