Heart/Mind Connection

Posted by Maria Certo on Saturday, August 14, 2010

The heart-mind connection is important to the way we manage our lives.

The heart tells us one thing while the mind tells us another.

Why does this happen?

We are always receiving messages from God to follow our heart and intuition.

We ignore these Divine messages as the mind takes over creating negative thoughts that have no basis in reality.

The reality of fear.

As soon as fear enters into the mind, the heart turns off.

At this point, whatever the heart was telling you, no longer exists as truth.

It feels like a lie because the mind has convinced the heart that there is too much risk involved in the choice.

This will happen when a change is about to occur.

These changes may be in a job, residence, relationship, inner confict or a shift in awareness.

Change always creates some form of fear because of the unknown factor that is attached to it.

To walk through the unknown can make us feel uneasy.

The mind is rational and logical.

It's uses are great in situations that call for logic and rational.

The heart holds our emotions which are the truth in any given situation in life.

The heart always reveals Love, Honor and Truth.

When one honors and loves themselves, the truth will always be shown.

This truth comes from God.

This combination of rationality, logic and emotion will always stir up confusion.

The two can be a battle field for the soul.

If the mind takes over when the heart knows the truth, then missed opportunities will pass us by.

The process will then be repeated until the heart becomes the predominant answer to the question of change and choice.

When your heart speaks, it speaks loud and clear.

Always follow the guidance of the heart.

Don't allow the mind to take over and fall into the trap of fear.

Listening to the messages that are sent from God always hold our truth.

Stand in your truth and watch your life become a fountain of Grace.

Allow this Grace to flow through you and guide your every thought as you continue on your soul's path through life.
