Surrender

When we surrender with what is keeping a tight grip on our soul over to God we allow life to return to
a place of peace and love.

Letting go of our emotional pain is very difficult.
We start to think of what brought us to this pain and who and what caused it.
As we do this we become angry, resentful, hurt and frustrated.
When we hang onto these emotions within our psyche we remain dormant.
These old hurts and negative thoughts keep us in repeated patterns.

Living in the past creates missed oportunities that are being given to us now. These opportunities may be something that can bring us growth and serenity.

Surrendering to what no longer serves you is very freeing for the soul.

Think of how you feel when you hold onto the pain.
Where in the body is there discomfort?
What physical ailments in the body are manifesting as the result of carrying this pain?
The head as your  'thoughts are aching'?
The shoulders as you 'carry the weight' on them'?
Your neck as you feel that IT is 'a pain in the neck'?
Your stomach as you are 'sick to your stomach'?
Your back as you feel you have been 'jabbed in the back'?
Your knees as you feel unsupported in the pain?
Your feet as you have lost your grounding?
Is holding onto the pain causing anxiety?
Is fear of change keeping you from letting go?

To release the pain and sufftering that is being endured begin to trust that
everything that has happened is for your soul's learning.

Trusting that as the pain is being released new doors will open.
This is a universal truth.

As we let go and give our pain over to God our energy shifts and brings in newness into
our lives.
All the blocked energy in our system clears and expands like a butterfly breaking out of it's cocoon.
We are free to fly again and spread ourselves outward back into life, love, joy, and laughter.

Trust that love is on it's way as you release the hurt that lies deep within.
