The Pain of Others

Posted by Maria Certo on Friday, September 5, 2014

When someone is in pain from a life event that created an emotional upset, our first reaction is to reach out and help that person.

This act of compassion and love assists with their healing.

It is Always a great gesture to give of yourself when someone is suffering emotionally.

It is why we are here, to serve others.

There is, however, a point in which the person who is hurting, needs to begin to heal themselves through the
variety of tools available to utilize in the healing process.

There is therapy/counseling which always assists with the core of the pain.

Forgiveness of yourself and others is another tool that brings healing to one's soul.

Letting go and trusting in God's divine plan that a learning will take place from the pain and that it will be transformed into light.

A walk in nature helps one connect  to their deepest self and brings release of the hurt through physical activity .

Prayer is another tool to use daily when working through the pain.

Each person on earth has their Own pain that belongs Only to them.

Their pain is theirs to hold, process and surrender.

No one can do the work for them, only they can rid  themselves from the pain that is endured.

It is solely the responsibility of each individual soul to iron out the wrinkles and kinks in the knotted confusion of the pain.

As humans, we naturally want to take the pain away from a person whom we love, but to do that would be a dis-service to the soul's path and the life lessons that require learning.

We can extend an loving heart and listening ear, but it is up to each soul to do the work needed to heal.

Working though the pain will result in the freedom of the barriers that weigh one down so that you may soar in peace as you continue on your life's journey.

Pain hurts.

Pain teaches.

Pain heals the wounded and broken self when it is conquered.

Conquering one's pain is the most important aspect of living that one can accomplish in this lifetime.

Set your soul free!
