The Teachings of Betrayal

Posted by Maria Certo on Wednesday, May 4, 2011
Have you ever felt betrayed and wondered how the person you love and trust could hurt you so badly?

Why are we betrayed by our friends, family and loved ones?

Betrayal happens because the person betraying is weak, insecure and powerless.

As they hurt you, they become empowered.

When one is betrayed, there is this deep feeling of emotional pain that stirs around the heart leaving it an empty void.

As one suffers a betrayal the stripping of the soul takes place.

Suddenly the protective layer of love and grace that has been held closely is now abruptly shed.

Layer by layer your invisible self becomes naked for all to see.

Trust is broken and faith is lost.

You feel alone and misunderstood.

You ask yourself over and over again how or why could this have happened?

Betrayal teaches us what our soul requires.

Do you require Honor, Love, Truth and Peace?

As the pain dissipates and new layers of wholeness begin to form like a shimmering crystal, a new you emerges outwardly.

Understanding and acceptance engages with your soul.

Trust and faith return and completeness arrives.

An inner strength reveals itself and is accessible at any given moment.

This new founded strength will carry you through heartaches in life and be a reminder that
God Always is holding and protecting you from negativity.
