The Tunnel

The tunnel is the space we pass through as we reach for emotional healing.

We enter into the tunnel as the wounds of the past open and ooze out the hurts of life.

These wounds include but are not exclusive to physical, mental, sexual or emotional abuse.

Other traumatic events in life such as a loss of a loved one or those who served in war carry
 these wounds with them.

When one suffers this form of abuse or trauma the emotional pain is profound.

During this period, an array of emotions are experienced.

Anger, sadness, confusion, denial, shock, agitation, resentment, apathy and frustration are all felt.

As one works through each of these feelings with the help of counseling and prayer, healing begins.

The tunnel is dark and difficult.

After one has walked through the tunnel with digintiy, honor, faith, forgiveness, love, compassion and understanding, a Light is shown.

This is the Light of God.

This light brings forth deep healing and a renewed perceptions on living.

The tunnel heals the soul.

A rainbow of light is sent to replace the darkness.

Reclaim your life and express all of the beauty that lies inside your heart.
