The Victim

Victim energy is repressive.

When one remains the victim after suffering through life's adversities, their
soul's progress to growth is hindered immensely.

If one continues to blame their conditions on past hurts, moving forward
becomes extremely difficult.

Such thoughts run through the mind and heart after being bruised emotionally.

Why me?

I don't deserve this.

My life is awful.

Nothing good ever comes my way.

If this didn't happen, I would be happy.

Blaming others allows self-pity to hold on tightly.

There are those in life who cause hurt and create chaos.

It is this chaos that the soul heeds to.

The universe provides choices to bring back our spirit.

One always has a choice even when it appears impossible.

Will the choice be to stay stuck in negativity or to choose the light?

When one chooses negativity, things begin to crumble all around.

When one chooses the light, newness arrives and doors open wide.

How does one exit the victim mentality?

Being responsible for all of ones life.

Ask God for guidance to move forward beyond the emotional pain and directly towards a
path that leads to freedom, self-reliance, joy and serenity.

"Self-pity is easily the most destructive of the nonpharmaceutical narcotics; it is addictive, gives momentary
pleasure and separates the victim from reality".
